I don't think there is a lack of support for Henderson I think that everyone wants him to do well.

The situation as I see it is that we now have a squad capable of providing competition for places. At the moment it seems Henderson is competing with Kuyt. I think that we should be picking players on form, based on the previous game Kuyt put in a better performance than Henderson, also given the nature of the next game (a big game against a rival for a top 4 spot) and Kuyt's reputation as a big game player, I think it is understandable that people are calling for Kuyt to be restored to the side at Henderson's expense.

Henderson could perhaps consider himself a little unlucky, had the next game been against a midtable or lower table side people may not have been so desperate to see him benched and he could have had a run of games.
