    Possible starting XIs:
Arsenal: Szczesny, Sagna, Vermaelen, Koscielny, Jenkinson, Walcott, Ramsey, Wilshere, Rosicky, Chamakh, Van Persie.

Liverpool: Reina, Kelly, Agger, Carragher, Enrique, Lucas, Adam, Kuyt, Downing, Suarez, Carroll.

Sky Sports probable starting 11's. hardly an inspiring arsenal team.
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

Having Wilshere in there gives their midfield a different outlook though.Walcott, Ramsey, Wilshere and RVP can pose danger to most teams.

I read yesterday that wilshere was a doubt for their 2nd leg against udinese next week! - if so it must be a massive risk for him to start tomorrow

Not that weak though really is it? Will still take some beating if that's the team we face tomorrow.

I thought Wilshere was nowhere near fit though? Not sure that team is accurate.

I would worry that Wilshere and Ramsey would control Lucas and Adam in the center of the park.

With or without Wilshere that is the weakest team they are going to feature in years.

Still they should not be underestimated but this is the great opportunity for us to make up 2 points we lost against Sunderland.

I reckon it will be something like this:

Arsenal: Szczesny, Sagna, Vermaelen, Koscielny, Jenkinson, Walcott, Ramsey, Frimpong, Arshavin, Chamakh, Van Persie.

They will have even have Chaimberlain in contention I think.

Liverpool: Reina, Kelly, Agger, Carragher, Enrique, Lucas, Adam, Kuyt, Downing, Suarez, Carroll.

According to the line ups we are stronger but I have that nagging feeling that Walcott or RVP will play a blinder.

I think Walcott and Arshavin in the wide areas will create lot of problems for Enrique and Kelly.

It will be very important that Lucas, Adam and especially Downing and Hendo/Kuyt help out defensively as they could hurt us.

The counter attack could be key for us tomorrow, what ever team Arsenal put out it will be heavily loaded with attacking players which should leave space to get at them on the break

Also they are likely to have an untested holding midfielder in front of the back four so getting in and around him early is important.

I am tired of waiting for the game, maybe we should not start build up threads so early, maybe max. two days prior to a game?

I dont think they will start with two up top,
                          Szczesny,
                          Sagna, Vermaelen, Koscielny, Jenkinson,
                          Frimpong, Ramsey,
                          Walcott, Rosicky, Arshavin,
                          Van Persie.

They also have Armand Traore back to play left back if he passes his fitness test
The times they are a changin'.

                          Comment

I thought Traore had already been ruled out.

Van Persie - Carroll reminds me of Shearer

Captain Robin van Persie has called on his Arsenal team-mates to keep a close watch on Andy Carroll this weekend.

The statuesque striker scored the winner for Newcastle at Emirates Stadium last season before moving to Anfield for a reported £35 million in January. The goal caught Van Persie’s eye and brought back memories of another former Newcastle and England No 9.

“He’s very strong and reminds me of Alan Shearer in style - holding the ball well, heading it strongly, moving nicely and looking lively in the box," Van Persie told Saturday’s Matchday Programme.

“We’ve seen what Carroll can do before - he scored the winner here for Newcastle last season. We’ll need to be on our guard against him."

Van Persie scored an injury-time time penalty the last time Kenny Dalglish’s men visited Emirates Stadium only for Dirk Kuyt to score an even later equaliser - also from the spot.

Liverpool have been busy in the transfer market over the summer, bringing in Jordan Henderson, Stewart Downing, Charlie Adam and Jose Enrique, and the Dutchman believes they will challenge for the Premier League title this season.

“I rate them as title contenders every year, and they look strong this time around,” he said. “You can only look forward to games like these.

“I’m excited to be playing against them; our last encounter, in April, was certainly dramatic and started in the 90th minute really! Hopefully we can give the fans a nice experience on Saturday.

“I’ve seen highlights of their match against Sunderland last week, and they seemed unlucky not to win - although I have to say Sunderland looked decent too.”

Rosicky could be out as well, which isn't that good for us.
