I personally would like to see Aquilani included into the squad for this match.

He needs to be at least on the bench.

He may or may not be sold in next 2 weeks but until that is decided imo we should try to feature our best players and during the pre-season he was clearly our best player.

Spot on. Those two are the only serious threats they have.

And the key to stopping them is to control the midfield, which makes me wonder if we should play 3 CMs and just one up front, with two wide forwards. You could play Lucas to protect, Spearing to hassle them and get in their faces as he did last season to great effect, leaving Adam with less defensive duty and more licence to get up the park and be creative.

This opens up the debate over whether Suarez should play as the left sided wide forward (with Kuyt on the right but no Downing), the right sided forward (with Downing on the left, but no Kuyt) or as the out and out striker, with Kuyt on the right and Downing on the left - but this would be mean leaving out Carroll.

              Tricky one.

                I would pick-

                Downing Lucas Adam
                Kuyt Carroll Suarez

It's men against boys in midifeld. The key is us controlling the ball and making the boys run around.

                    We cannot forget about Arshavin.

He seems to always have " the game of a season" against us and he could cause us all kinds of problems on the left once again.

If GJ is not ready I'd prefer to see Kelly over Flanagan as a RB.

i know they say never write anyone off especially manure or arsenal, but i genuinely am not concerned one bit by this game. it is there for the taking and kenny and the players will know this. arsenal are struggling, have just lost there best player and captian, will not play there second best player in nasri, have a shockingly bad goalkeeper and a couple of the big or aggressive players in the team suspended or sold. we are finally playing good, flowing attacking football for the first time in years and years and kenny has a knack of getting the players up for big games. i cant see anything but a 2 or 3 nil win for us. it might be nieve of me or shortsighted / blind etc... but this is how im feeling about this game and i love it!!!

They dont have a 'shockingly bad goalkeeper' really, do they? Slight artistic licence being used there, he's decent enough without being world class.
