Adam has been disappointing in set pieces but he's been good with the ball in open play.

I don't know what Carroll has to do to get credit. He's feeding off of scraps, and doing well with nearly every ball he's been given.

****ing hell what a lot of moaners. when was the last time we won here? not even the maginificent rafa was able to conjure one up. kenny has always been none to set up to contain away from home, its not new and it won't change. we've created a few chances and seem to be coming into the game as the half went on. kuyt is juts kuyt for me, no worse or better than usual. Lucas should be replaced by Spearing. On a yellow and is being bossed.

Get Suarez on for Kuyt and try and squeeze maxi somewhere and we might just nick this. Henderson has been very good, getting about, laying it off and always looking for the ball. jose looks good at left back and carra has hardly been troubled.

We've been the better side, but apart from Downing our midfield has got bossed. Kuyt's either brilliant or terrible, unfortunately todays he's been terrible. Enrique,Kelly & Downing have been very good, Enrique in particular.

Lucas,Adam & Hendo need to wake up, and get a grip of the midfield. Hendo is neat and tidy but seems ineffective. Adam has been annoymous for the most part and Lucas still looks lagging. If things haven't changed by 15 mins IMO Suarez should be on for Hendo, Kuyt on right and Suarez up top with Carroll.

P.S. Frimpong is one foul away from a red.

Kuyt and Adam have been dire. Nothing coherent through the middle again; same problem as last week's 2nd half. Suarez will help that, but we need Gerrard or a Gerrard "type" -- a CAM in the hole-- desperately in this set-up. Henderson is doing well, but Dirk is coming back too far (playing more in a winger's role) and Carroll needs a second forward near him or Henderson crashing in to get on the balls he knocks down. That said, Vermaelen is owning him right now. Suarez on asap please for Henderson or Kuyt. Adam is a shadow of his former self today. Everyone deserves to have a mare, but Arsenal are for the taking and we've left them in it.

One of the poorest Arsenal teams we have played since the PL begun. Should be more dominant and a couple of goals up at least, but we are just too tentative and hesitant on the ball IMO. They are there for the taking and if we do not get the 3 points here it really will be a major disappointment.

FWIW, Suarez would have had a field day against that back 4 in the first half. I would take Kuyt off and bring on Suarez.

He looks tired, bit better than first game but still looks lagging from the Copa. Got skinned very badly by Nasri twice and twice by Frimpong, his legs looked gone trying to chase back.

with everything except Kuyt. I like Dirk but he has had a stinker thus far today IMO. Wouldn't take him off as he is very capable but not his best display IMO.

I disagree. He helped a lot defensively and looked ok when attacking.

He's not the one I would take off. I'd replace Carroll.
