Well as I said, we too are gonna strengthen and I'm confident we'll beat them again at Anfield.

Last year we played them without Gerrard, equivalent to them losing Fabregas. Flanagan was in for Johnson, similar to their RB today. Robinson came on after 20 minutes for Aurelio, just like their rookie CB today. Spearing ws playing CM, with similar experience to Ramsey. Fair enough, they had to play Frimpong too, but even still I don't remember too many people making excuses for us last year.

Arsenal had their strongest forward line available and they did nothing (I don't rate Gervinho BTW). Vermalen and Sagna both had two their best games in an Arsenal shirt and Frimpong was doing well until the red. It was a decent Arsenal team and we beat them fair and square. I don't see it as lucky at
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Carroll is woeful, Suarez is quality.

Game changed on the sending off, then a freak own goal. The sort of game you lot get obsessed over with the mancs calling them the luckiest team of all time.

I'm hoping we'll be battling each other for 4th, not confident for either side though
I don't see you guys contending for anything.

If you don't buy anybody decent and you won't cause you have Wenger you'll be lucky to qualify for EL and that also may be pushing..

They might not even qualify for the Emirates Cup next summer

All piss taking aside, arsenal will be competing for the top 4. Reports of their demise have been greatly exaggerated. For the first time since Wenger took over however, it's not a given that they'll achieve it, but that doesn't mean they're **** all of a sudden. I actually think (hope) Chelsea might struggle this season as well.

I'd be worried if I was an Arsenal fan. Despie all their obvious problems, Arshavin needs to go and RVP hasn't looked interested in the two games so far this year.

They've problems all over the pitch.

I hope you're right about Chelsea. I've a lot of respect for Arsenal, they've tried to compete with fair financial input and I think people are going overboard with comments about what they need to/ should spend. For the longer term future of the game it's more the Arsenal model that needs to be followed and not the Chelsea and City models.

Pretty shaky goalkeeper, new inexperienced RB, weak and injury prone CB, not enough in midfield to control possessions "their bread and butter" and they are lacking top notch striker in addition to RVP who will definitely get injured again.
