All piss taking aside, arsenal will be competing for the top 4. Reports of their demise have been greatly exaggerated. For the first time since Wenger took over however, it's not a given that they'll achieve it, but that doesn't mean they're **** all of a sudden. I actually think (hope) Chelsea might struggle this season as well.

TBF you really wouldn't know would you? We all come on here and say this team will beat that team and this players gonna be great and so on but there are so many factors in how it all pans out. Who'd have thought Uruguay would have won the Copa America?Who'd have thought QPR would win at Everton Today? You'd have been laughed at. I'd be happy to take 4th right now. However,Liverpool could well finish 2nd this season just off the winners. City could implode at any time and are likely to change managers on a whim, as are Chelsea. Wenger refuses to pay out for players. Could be a great season for the neutral. All the teams in this division have players who can punish you. WBA proved that today. Kenny's buys,while seemingly a bit dull, are fairly safe bets to play well more often than not this season and that's what I think he's banking on. A greater level of consistency across the whole season. As for Arsenal, they could well be in freefall like we were last season. I think Wenger's losing it.

It may turn out that way but it's the start of the season and premature to decide that.

He's got them into the CL for the last what 13 years, he's obviously got some idea (and in all due respect more than you) about how to manage a football club.
