                Alternative method.

I must admit that before I saw him play for Arsenal, I'd always thought that 'Frimpong' was the name for what those ladies in the shows in Amsterdam do with a table tennis ball.

Liverpool beat Arsenal away, EST goes in to two day depression. ****ing mental

This time last year we'd already failed to beat them at home. Isn't context great!
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

And we'd also been spanked at City.

What I will point out is that Frimprong is getting a lot of praise for his performance before the red card. Having watched back, I don’t think he did that much, but bizarrely he’s getting credit because he made a few fouls and stood out more. Both Lucas and Adam made more successful tackles than him, with Lucas making twice as many. He conceded twice as many fouls as Lucas and Adam combined, and had a poorer pass completion ratio.

Fair enough, he had one decent shot and won a dangerous free kick, but I do find it strange how he can receive so much praise for his performance yet our players come in for the criticism.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I agree. But generally the media approach is that any young player brought through by Arsenal is a world-beater, any young player brought through by Man Utd is a future England captain, and any young player brought through by us is a scally shoplifter riding his luck.

I admire Wenger for achieving what he has, and for bringing through some genuine talents, but over the last few years his refusal to spend what appears to be readily available funds (if Hill-Wood is to be believed) is bizarre. The media has no choice but to rave about his youngsters, because he's bought so few established stars in the last few years.

yep...not quite sure where all this "he was having a great game until he got sent off" is coming from.
Some highlight reels (BBC for one) were so desperate they were picking out the fact that he was in a position when a play broke down, or when he moved into a holding position when Nasri broke down field etc etc........and claiming this all as great play.
I'm not saying things like that aren't important, but its fairly standard stuff you get from most midfielders on a football weekend if they're doing their job.
He was well down the list of performances from all the players yesterday for me.

                                Only just seen the game.

Couldn't believe how comfortable we looked.

Whether we could have stepped up a gear if needed I'm not sure but for the most part IMO we were excellent.
