Suarez or Torres?

How do people feel now? Without looking I think I voted for Suarez at the time. Now it's cut and dried IMO. While Torres was a goalscoring machine, Suarez just has so much more about him.

Whoever would've thought, back in 2007-2009, that we'd flog Nando and wind up with someone better.

Everyone who voted for Torres or 'can't decide' - have you changed your minds?

It seems those in the "can't decide" bracket are the most sensible ones. When this poll was made, it was too early to know and Suarez was definitely NOT as prolific as Torres. Still probably is not.

But yeah, he's been sensational.

Was watching Goals Goals Goals on LFC channel the other day and they had about 10mins of non-stop goals from the 2008-09 season. Just brought it all back for me, what a great team we had and Torres was the icing on the cake. Some incredible goals.

I love Luis and am sure if we built a better team around him he would do even better, but Torres is the first player we signed in many many years that just had me on the edge of my seat and was an absolute joy to watch him in tandem with Gerrard.

Torres was great for us. When him and Gerrard got going it was amazing. But Suarez is definatly a better player all round. He works his bollocks off every game, he creates and brings others in too.

As always, Ill have fond memories of Nando. But Suarez is truly special. He is the sort of player that any club would want in their first 11. Not many others like that around.

You can watch all of Torres' LFC goals on YouTube, and it is unbelievable. You forget just how incredible he was.

But it's still Suarez for me. He's amazing. I honestly think he's our best signed player since John Barnes.

Dispite Suarez signing on the same day Torres left. Imagine the forward line with those two in though.
