    I picked Suarez.

Torres in his prime is a better goalscorer, one of the most lethal finishers I've seen, but Suarez adds so much more to the team. When he plays the team moves to his beat.
A humble guy with healthy desire.

Some right jokers voting in this poll.

They had Carra's top 5 transfers on last night. Number one was Torres for £50m.

For once he's got something blatantly right.

Surely people can see that Saurez gives more to the team (ignoring that it can all go wrong) than Torres?

surely those of us who have voted Torres have explained our reasons?

people have different opinions i dont quite see how this makes people jokers

I think Suarez can do more than Torres, even more than when Torres was at his prime. But as a pure goalscorer, I'm not sure we're going to have someone as good as Nando. He's in an elite/exclusive club, with arguably only Rushie, Kenny and Robbie ahead of him (not even talking about the likes of Hunt).
                    Are we winning?

I agree, Torres and Suarez would have been an awesome partnership, if we had the Torres of 24 months ago. One would have fed the other. But then that's the point, Suarez has more to his game than Torres, just maybe not the clinical finishing this season.

Them together, we would have been unbeatable. FFS, I can't even imagine it, I think they would have complemented each other really well.

Why keep talking about the traitor? He left and we have the awesome Suarez who wants to be here.

CJ, I wrote that post with no intention of belittling anyone else. I thought the answer was very obvious, and I must admit I hadn't read your post before answering. So my hands go up on that one.

Looks like we actually agree on a majority of points. I still maintain that Suarez adds more than just goals, if that's taking people out of position with his movement, or having the vision to play people in. He has a much sharper football brain as far as I've seen so far.

Well, we have Downing, Carroll, Kuyt, Bellamy, Gerrard, Henderson now who can all get into the box and finish the ball. I'd say we're in a better position than the Sky stamped 'two man team'. Tbh, thanks **** for that. But yeah, it would have been good to see them play together, it's just that one wanted to, the other seems to have lost his way, so maybe it would never of happened.
