Bad memory's, for me that was the game we lost the title.

really? not rafa and his negative tactics at various points in the season? it was only when the leash was let off from end of Feb we looked unplayable. the thing that cost us the title for me was that villa game where they were 2-1 up at old trafford and lost 3-2 thanks to Macheda. That & the ****ing lucky goal that won them the match at Sunderland. Plus Arsenal at home.

i am a bit nervy bout the game -

the international break came at a bad time, plus stoke will be well up for it after adding a few players at the end of the window plus not as many players away on international duty they will have been working all week on this game, plus they are at home.

If we win this it would be a massive massive statement...

I'd take a draw though

if we come out of those two with 4 points and then bit wolves at the end of the month we'll be going into October as

i'd be relatively pleased with that start - Then october would be a crucial month for us.

tbh. I'm more worried about the Stoke game than the Spurs away game. Stoke have a good team spirit, coming of a good transfer window for them and have had a decent start.

We could well be in for a low scoring draw in this game, 0-0 1-1, Stoke are doing well on the defence, but we should manage to keep them from scoring as well.

Yep, Skrtel played right back at Boro in 2008/09, one of only two games we lost all season. Carragher refused to play there (before going on to play there numerous times for Hodgson ), Skrtel was chucked in the deep end, he was terrible and we lost.

Arguably, well IMO anyway the day we lost the chance to win the league
