Absolutely no idea so far and I'm not sure Kenny does..

Suarez needs to start every game.....

Injuries aside, I think we'll need to we'll need to wait until December to pick this..

I think we need to take a look at the defensive pairings though..

I would favour Kelly over Johnson for defensive duties, even so he's still a bit raw. Enrique has slotted in perfectly as far as I'm concerned, which allows Downing space to roam. So on the right, I would have to go with Kuyt as he'll 'work hard' all day apparently.

Center backs is an issue, as we don't have any pace there. I would like to see Agger and Coates, but that's not ready yet, or dependable from injury, so I would say this is a primary weak area that should be looked at in January.

Centre mids I think we have a lot of flexibility. Lucas has to be a starter, and against the top five teams I'd be tempted to put Spearing in along side him. I like Adam, but someone needs to put a deep fat fried mars bar on the end of a tread mill for him to chase for the next few months, before I'd be comfortable with his 90 minutes fitness.

Up top, again, I'm happy with Saurez, Carroll, Maxi and Gerrard, depending on opposition and perceived weaknesses.

I agree, I forgot Bellamy in my line up, but he's a good Downing replacement. The Maxi and Gerrard part was us adopting a 5 man midfield.

I'm not having a go at you mate. But I don't see Suarez or Bellamy having defensive duties in their locker. A lot of our goals conceded have come from our right hand side. As you say, depends on who we play. But there is no way I'd be happy with that team against ManU, City, or Spuds.

Amazed at the number of people who have Kelly in their strongest line up.

For me, Johnson starts over him every time. Kelly, IMO, has been pretty poor so far this season. Granted he's had an injury but i just dont really see his strengths.

Johnson is ten times better going forward and better defensively also. Johnson does has his bad moments defensively but Kelly has more. He's poor positionally and aerially and seems to let the opposing winger get his cross in every time. He stands off the winger way too much enabling him to cross or pick a pass and when he does get tight he gets beaten easily. Supposedly his best position is centre half but for a big lad he's aerially poor so i doubt he'd make it at CB for us.

Still he's young and has a decent touch and a fair bit of pace so he can work on the rest of his game but at the moment, IMO at least, he's a backup option.

Kelly is ****ing quality, though if theres a criticism he does dip a bit versus **** teams, his best games have been v Man Utd, Chelsea x 2, Everton, Lyon and Arsenal.

I'm not saying he's ****......simply that i'm amazed so many people have him in the first team over Johnson.

He's definitely a prospect but perhaps one that's been overblown somewhat. Recently his tendency to hoof and poor positional play have alarmed me.

My inclusion would be on the basis that he has better mobility to get back and defend. Of the two to beat a player going forward, I would say Johnson. Of the two with match fitness and defensive discipline I'd go with Kelly right now. Use Johnson against teams when our right isn't a liability.

I think our strongest atm is,

                              Reina

                              Johnson Carragher Agger Enrique

                              Maxi Gerrard Lucas Downing

                              Kuyt

                              Suarez

But we would be more suited to a 4-3-3. My only problem is, I would want a Meireles/Aquilani type of player with Gerrard and Lucas in the middle, as opposed to Henderson or Adam, who imo will improve no doubt and will be good squad players, but just feel we could do better. Carroll will improve no doubt, but at moment I feel we play better with Kuyt in the team.

In January a want to see us replace Raul with another attacking midfielder - someone like Hamsik, who am a big fan of could fit into the team like this:

                              First Team:
                              Reina
                              Johnson Carra Agger Enrique
                              Gerrard Lucas Hamsik
                              Kuyt Suarez Downing

                              Second Team:
                              Doni
                              Kelly Skrtel Coates Aurelio
                              Henderson Spearing Adam
                              Maxi Carroll Bellamy

Youngsters, Flanagan, Robbo, Wilson, Suso, Sterling, Coady etc.

Amazing strength in depth, all I feel we need is one creative midfield player to replace Meireles in January and we fine. Until then, and unless Carroll improves quickly, i'd play the first team at the top I put.

I've noticed this too. Maybe it's because in the big games he's usually had Kuyt in front of him. Who would make any full backs job ten times easier.

Jarvis is a decent player who I expect to be at a bigger club soon enough. There's no real shame in him giving Kelly a hard game.

Great prospect but hopefully Johnson is fit soon enough. I can see him & Henderson linking up well on the right.
