I fancy we'll see a real performance from Carroll this afternoon, just have this feeling he's going to cause all sorts of issues for them.

I'm not so sure.Originally posted by rcasemore View PostI fancy we'll see a real performance from Carroll this afternoon, just have this feeling he's going to cause all sorts of issues for them.
King (if he lasts entire game) and Kaboul are both very good in the air and I would think playing Carroll would be to their advantage but I hope I'm wrong.
Personally I'd prefer to see Bellamy to use pace and trickery to stretch the defense and give our defenders some breathing space.
I'm also worried that they will dominate the possession with Modric and Parker in the midfield.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

I hope so, he needs to do a lot more than he has done, City last season apart he has been very poor.Originally posted by chadrtc View PostYeah, i think it's all set up for Andy Carroll today. Sat warming the bench for a few games, you would expect to see a reaction and i have a sneaky feeling we might get one.

well we'll see in 20 minutes or so - I think in away games like this it's never a bad thing to have an out ball and different options, Carroll offer that, I think Bellamy will come on from the bench 65 - 70 minutes in and will cause problems for tired legsOriginally posted by Mostar View PostI'm not so sure.

I hope the result is still in our favor when that happens as we struggled so far trying to play catch up game.Originally posted by rcasemore View Postwell we'll see in 20 minutes or so - I think in away games like this it's never a bad thing to have an out ball and different options, Carroll offer that, I think Bellamy will come on from the bench 65 - 70 minutes in and will cause problems for tired legsMember #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

I was wondering the same thingOriginally posted by Gaz View PostHow is it that Ledley King never finds himself injured when we play Spurs? The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
