He definitely had a good game and was much improved, but he still had a few worrying moments and that was far from a "heroic" performance.

The reason for them expressing his performance as "heroic" was exactly what Craig said. Kenny in his post game interview rated Carra highly and they just used that info to create this article.

Still I stand behind my words and imo he hasn't had the best performance on Saturday.

Everton Football Club have issued a public statement about the bottles and coins thrown at Craig Bellamy and Luis Suarez during the Merseyside derby at Goodison on Saturday.

"We are fully aware of the incidents which occurred during Saturday's derby game and are currently working with Merseyside police on collating and analysing all available CCTV footage of the incidents," said a club spokesperson.

"If we can identify any supporter who threw anything we will take immediate, firm and far-reaching action. This behaviour is totally unacceptable and will be rightly condemned by all right-thinking Evertonians and that is 99.9% of our fanbase."

They just need to view the Sky footage. Clear view of a kid (or man with stunted growth) throwing two plastic bottles at Bellamy. He missed with both despite being only a couple of feet away. In front of him was a bloke filming Bellamy with his smartphone while shouting obscenities at the same time.

Interesting about Carra, I don't think anyone has a problem with his last ditch defending, he's always been fantastic at that.
My problem with him, and others was shown in the 2nd half when Saha shot just wide, the ball was played up to him, Carra was marking, Saha's touch took him away from goal, Carra backed off allowing Saha to turn, advance then shoot just wide.
A younger, more mobile defender would have followed Saha in not allowing him to turn unopposed.
Carra was scared that Saha would drop it off and spin in behind so he retreated to the sanctury of the 18 yard box

I've only seen it the once, but I thought Carra dropped off as there was another Everton player making a run and he was mindful of that and that skrtel was the one who should of closed saha down. but like i say, only saw it once.

Moyes has had pretty much **** all to spend since he's been there so I don't agree in the slightest.

As far as Rafa goes, I believe he overachieved by a long way, the most expensive squad he had at anyone time was still the best part of £100m less than Utd or Chelsea's squad, yet idiots (fans and the media) expected him to be fighting for the title every year. He should still be here imo.

Even so, Moyes has had next to nothing, I don't know where you get this idea that he's had loads to spend??? Their fans still expect him to compete with us. Laughable.
