Agger to get a one-on-one with the keeper, take it round him, then right on the line drop on to all fours and roll the ball over the line with his head.
That team should score goals against any team that wants to park the bus like Brom probably will.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

        Hodgson wary of 'incredible' Suarez

West Brom manager Roy Hodgson has labelled Luis Suarez's performances since arriving at Liverpool "incredible" as he prepares to welcome his former club to the Hawthorns on Saturday.

Suarez, 24, has scored seven goals in 11 games for the Reds this season, including a match-winning brace in Wednesday night's Carling Cup victory at Stoke.

The Uruguay striker has become a firm fan favourite since moving to Anfield from Ajax in January, and Hodgson - sacked by Liverpool shortly before Suarez's arrival - knows his side will need to be wary of the threat posed by the visitors' No. 7.

"He was top of my list in my time there but unfortunately I wasn't afforded the luxury of having sizeable funds to spend and it is Kenny who has profited on that front.

"Every game I've seen him play this year, he's looked incredible," Hodgson told talkSPORT.

"Even the Norwich game, he didn't score but it was a more a miracle that he didn't score, he got so many chances for himself. He is a very good player, a very dangerous player."

Hodgson will be hoping for a repeat of last season's result in front of the ESPN UK cameras at the Hawthorns, when a pair of Chris Brunt penalties give the Baggies a 2-1 win over Kenny Dalglish's side.

Didn't Hodgson say something last year about not being aware of Suarez? Or him not being on our radar? Stupid old cunt.

Don't see why Speo shouldn't start this game, he's certainly earned it.

ROY Hodgson takes on former club Liverpool this Saturday claiming he has no regret over his lack of spending power at Anfield.

The Albion boss endured a miserable six-month spell in Merseyside, culminating in his dismissal in early January.

His successor Kenny Dalglish spent £58million during January following Hodgson’s departure - although £50million was raised by the sale of Fernando Torres - before splashing out a further £50million during the close season.

Hodgson’s spending capabilities were hamstrung by uncertainty over the club’s financial future, not least as the Reds were in the throes of a change in ownership.

But he bears no resentment toward Dalglish or the resources he has at his disposal.

He said: “Certainly the fact is that when I went in it was a time of transition and the first job for the people that employed me was basically to make certain the club didn’t go into liquidation because there were major problems with the previous owners not being able to meet the bank’s demands and the bank maybe closing the club down.

“The first thing was to get the club back into a situation where it could operate properly and not only did they do that, they organised it so when the new owners came in the club was totally debt-free, which is certainly a great advantage.

“And the new owners have certainly added to that by investing in the squad.

“The situation now is certainly vastly different to the situation I had but I realised when I went in there that there was going to be a change of ownership and that these things can always happen.”

Hodgson feels Liverpool’s summer investment - which saw the arrival of several players, including Jordan Henderson, Stewart Downing and Charlie Adam - makes them prime for a top four challenge.

“They certainly need to be (aiming for a top four finish) because that’s what the investment is for,” he added.

“I don’t think the new owners are investing all this money for them to be a mid-table team, they are doing it because Liverpool in the past, alongside Manchester United, are one of the two flagships of English football.

“One has 19 league titles and one has 18 so they have all those league titles in modern times, not to mention the European Cup trophies that Liverpool have got.

“The reason the owners have gone in there is because they believe they can get Liverpool up to that level again and there is no doubt that the pressure on Liverpool to finish in the top four is similar to the pressure many of the clubs in the Premier League have to survive.

“They have spent quite wisely and brought some very good players into the club.

“Certainly the team is much, much stronger than it’s been in a long while and they have had a good start to the season so we have to be aware that this is one of those matches where you go onto the field of play far from being favourites, albeit you’re playing at home.

“If you want to get something from the game you’ve certainly got to perform at the highest level and hope maybe the opposition aren't at their best.

“In our favour is the fact that for the last four or five games we haven’t been playing badly ourselves and we also believe we have good players.”

he just makes me angry, everytime he comes out giving the impression of this humble guy that just tries to do his best with squads he's inherited that aren't of high quality and therefore people shouldn't expect too much blah blah smint blah.

He's the human equivolent of a cockroach, built for survival and does whatever to achieve that - rant over !!

Kenny Dalglish has today revealed that he will leave it until the last minute to decide whether Luis Suarez will face West Brom on Saturday.

The striker picked up an ankle knock during the Carling Cup success at Stoke City and the boss admitted he has since undergone treatment at Melwood.

Dalglish told his pre-match press conference: "He's had a bit of treatment so we'll see how is. He's had a tough time recently, so we'll see how is tomorrow."
