Just watched the game for the first time.

We did very well IMO. If only Suarez was as clinical as he is creative - but I think that will come, and when it does - God help the opposition!

Hmm, fair point. I don't think we need to go so far as setting up some kind of quest for the ultimate truth as that's an extreme philosophical position. However if we pull back from that a little:

I suppose I don't see any reason for swapping opinions just for the sake of it. If it doesn't further one's own understanding of the world then it seems futile to me.

I can see why it can be worth doing in the real world, with people you know and have to/want to get along with...whoops, maybe better not go further down that route.

However I do think if people are going to evaluate others' arguments then they are already going down the line of looking for, if not an ultimate truth, then at least a deeper appreciation or understanding of why something is happening.

If it's just "I think this" answered by "Well, I think that" then OK but personally I don't find that remotely interesting or enlightening.

I think it's a hell of a lot less weak than relying on the dubious judgement of self-appointed internet critics whose knowledge of football is unproven and probably virtually non-existent when compared to someone who has been involved at the highest level of professional football for about 40 years.

So come off it, you know about arguments from inference as well as anybody. If you have an alternative interpretation (I'm sure there are some) as to why Dalglish is picking him then I'd be interested to hear it. If it's simply the old chestnut of "I could be right and Kenny could be wrong because he's not perfect" then thanks but I reckon his chances of being right are significantly higher than yours (or mine or anyone else's on here).

But as Craig suggests, "good enough" (or not) involves knowledge of what is required of him. We'll know if he's been playing satisfactorily if he gets picked for the next game.

Absolutely made up with the win and our improved away form.

I've given Adam some stick so it's only right I give him praise today. I fancied him to have a good game due to Hodgson's teams never pressing and sure enough he had a good game. Much more economical with the ball. Him and Lucas ran the show.

Imperative we beat Swansea to go into two tough games.

I thought Lucas was the difference maker yesterday and he truly controlled the midfield offensively and defensively.

I am not sure that I agree on Adam though.

His defending is awful and any decent teams would take advantage of that weaknesses in his game.

His passing was little bit better but imo it wasn't great. Too many times yesterday he raised his hand to apologize to his teammates for the poor pass.

That said, he is still adjusting and imo he can play much better.
