He's been the only active midfielder with the ball. Take Adam off and we can't string two passes together.

Also Adam can only be a couple of fouls away from a second booking

It's a constant dilemma with Adam for me - a walking yellow card (or two), a passenger off the ball but always likely to make something happen with the ball and a goal threat.

on my stream it shows adam as having covered more ground than any of our other players. shocked by that.

So he should, he's a centre mid - the position where you run the most. It's his positional/tactical play without the ball that's so lacking. And his propensity for giving away stupid fouls.

That's up there with Lucas only has high pass completion cause he only passes sideways.

I think Adam needs two midfielders around him to get his full potential out of him.

he played much better in the 4-2-3-1 with Gerrard and Lucas, but always seems to go amiss in a 4-4-2, he clearly struggles to tackle, I really hope he doesn't get himself sent off.
