After us dropping unexpected points at home this is a must win IMO. I'm not overly confident that we'll do that but if we loose too many more points 4th might pass us by for another year.

Id take a draw from this. We are competing with them for 3rd and 4th, so a point would be decent. We will go into the game looking to win, as I dont think Kenny ever goes in looking to keep it tight and draw. Torres is an afterthought at this point now. Bigger things to concentrate on.

IF he's rested then it's probably with his longterm fitness in mind, I don't like it but I can buy into the logic.

If Gerrard isn't fit I expect Carra to start.

I'd leave him out for exactly the same reason. You just know that Torres is going to use what little pace he has left to try and force an error out of Carragher. Best outcome would be a 1-0 to us with Torres winning a penalty and then subsequently missing it
