    Steve Clark.

Looks like he has the defense sorted out.

Carra still has me worried though. He was aimlessly hitting balls up field yesterday in the first 15-20 minutes.

Part of defending is using the ball well. Either way I'm happy that for once our CB's are looking good.

Hoping that Agger stays fit all season.

No overly concerned with Carra. He's not a first choice option any longer and in case of injuries Coates is almost ready to be play a more prominent role. Add Kelly into an equation and our CB options look pretty good.

    I like what I see.

If we can only pick up some clinical finisher we should be in a very good position to make it into top 4 or better.

getting back to the title of the thread.....what a great choice by Kenny to bring Clark in as his No. 2.....

when the King returned, i was full sure that he'd have Thommo back - and to be fair he would have sorted the defense as well - but i think Clark is renowned as a top coach globally......Mourinho would have him any day if he could......

What i like at the moment is that despite problems in one or two areas of the pitch (we could do with another wide player, and another striker) we now have a ****in brilliant team spirit.... stevie wonder could see that the players love playing for LFC again.....whereas in the last couple of seasons, they seemed to be weighted down by it....

I think that might be a reason why Meireles was left move along - because he seemed to be a bit of a grumpy cunt......

I like the fact that Torres and Meireles went from first choice here to bench boys at chelsea. Enjoy yourselves!

Yes, although that might also say something about our squad, at the time at least, compared to Chelsea's now.

I'm not sure Meireles was first choice really though.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Torres was better here than he is there too, he might as well be called Diablo as he isn't the same player!

Like his first long ball right onto Carrolls head? Why is ok for reina to aimlessly smack it downfield at times whereas when Carra chips it forward its a hoof? Carra was faultless against chelsea. Saying that he is no longer first choice. We're in a lucky position right now with centre backs.

Steve Clarke appears to be doing a good job right now, but like any number 2 you only really know when they leave. After all the defence was always good under Kenny, first time round.

Neil, "odd" also rhymes with mod & god. "Odd Mod God"- or even the abbreviation of OMG God.

                    'God' is also 'dog' backwards.

                    Think about it, huh?

No, I'm saying dog moves in mysterious ways and he likes anagrams.
