Thanjk you.

It was a tough first half and granted the second half we looked shaky and disjointed at times, but they were always going to tire, and once we made it 3-1, there weren't any hopes of them coming back.
SO GREAT to see both Downers and Carroll score, and a special mention for the pin-point quality cross Downing laid on a plate for Carroll just before Downing scored himself. That'll do his confidence a world of good. And also interesting to see how - having come on with us already leading - he seemed a bit more relaxed.
We're going to go onwards and upwards from here, I can feel it!
Changing the entire back line up obviously would never normally happen and that made us a bit edgy but Oldham were always going to be up for this game and come out on fire.
We kept calm, fortunately made a quick response to a fantastic goal and finished the game at a canter with goals from Carroll and Downing.
It was also nice to see how the whole team seemed to be happy for Carroll and Downing to score.
I could also see how Downing seemed happy at first at having scored and then kept biting his lips, even after the final whistle, as he didn't want to be seen smiling, because he knows he's been **** and it was only Oldham and he needs to produce that more often. The message it gave me was 'Must do that more often, don't count yer chickens before they hatch.'
I'm sure this will do - him especially - a world of ****ing good. Carroll also.
SUPER how Bellamy roared at the right side - which leaves the left open to Maxi at the same time - or to Downing (who is better at the left side, when it comes to crosses). Shelvey also made Henderson look to up his play to be more direct and have more goalattempts. Still would have been good if Caroll (the one who also will be there next match) had got a goal from his header, where he should be the stronger/better one - and which has been so missing this season.
Great result but I don't think we played all that well really, with the late goals putting a bit of a false sheen on the result.
I was mainly focusing on Coates as it was the first time watching him live, and I thought he was a bit languid, and unsure. Not quite on the pace of things. A bit of a way to go before breaking into the Agger/Skrtel combo.
