If we end up going through then it won't matter one iota. My feeling at this point though is that we missed an opportunity to put them under a bit more pressure. We weren't playing against their excellent home record; we were playing against a weakened team that could be got at.
What will happen in the second leg if say Richards replaces Savic at centreback and Silva is back? I'd say that would make them much stronger at the back and more of a threat at the other end of the pitch. I appreciate that we were lumbered with Carroll up front but we should have targeted Savic for the whole game instead of giving him an easy time in the second half.
There's always room for improvement of course, but you've got to step back, forget the details of the game and consider our position in the round. Cup semi final away against a top team and we're one up going into the home leg. In reality, we can't really ask for more than that.

****ing morons , what would have happened if Nasri had crashed
It's ok ribbing mates or footballers on the pitch is fine but once you all leave the stadium, they are just people and you should either say hello and ask for an autograph or shut the **** up and walk on.
people who misspell morons when calling someone else stupid is a real treat for me. it gets me literally every time. and it happens a lot too, which is fun.
nothing against you, souliv. you're quite correct in your assertion.

Personally I thought Kenny should have pulled Carroll and not Bellamy as Bellamy's pace could have caused problems for City especially as they moved almost all their players except Savic and Lescott in our half in last 10 minutes in hopes of getting an equalizer.
I imagine your right Mostar bud but, i think Kenny's way of thinking was to keep Bellamy fit for our next games as Kenny doesn't want to push him to hard considering we've got some important games coming up.
I'm not saying Bellamy isn't fit btw its just a precautionary thing to keep him on top form and to rest him whenever possable.
I'm probably talking ****e but after a few pints, it has been known
