    LFC 9th in Money League

Interesting figures. Arsenal's stadium revenues are there for all to see. Interesting that we made more than Spurs, even though they had a CL run and we werent in it.

Schalke surprised me, but then i suppose they had the CL run to the semi finals.

    Real Madrid and Barca...

Just imagine where we could be if we got back into the CL and got a new stadium.

Every year we seem to fall further down that list

New stadium, CL competition past the group qualifiers and our own broadcasting/TV rights and we would be up there with top 3,4.

We really need to get back into CL ASAP..

Real and Barca are listed as charities rather than as companies, so they don't pay any tax. It's ****ing scandalous. EUFA/FIFA need to do something about it. Every other team in Spain is a listed company, so its not hard to see why Real/Barca dominate the league and are starting to dominate Europe.

Without starting a whole new debate, if we would have kept Rafa we'd be in the top 5 of that league.

He consistently got us to the latter stages of the CL.

Does not mean he'd get us in the Champions League this time around. Different time now.

FSG are sorting out our finances and making sure we're in the best situation. The Champions League would top it all off, but until we get back in, we need to explore other avenues. I don't think it will be long, but my goodness the summer coming up has to be a near 'perfect' one.

Real & Barca's ticket prices are just ludicrous as well, that is the main reason why they will probably always be on top of the money list. The cheapest ticket to see either Real or Barca is 60 Euros & that amount increases to 80 Euros when they play each other...
Thanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!

TV revenues. Remember that Real and Barcelona negotiate their own deals.

We've sorted out our shirt sales now as well. Should look much better in the coming years.

It's interesting that Arsenal and Chelsea are ~£40m better off than us. Presumably this is due to them being in the Champions League and us not. If we were in the CL we'd probably be around that mark, even without a new stadium. When we get a new stadium (or upgrade Anfield) hopefully we'd be closer to Bayern Munich's figures than Arsenal/Chelsea's
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

real get around £100m a year in tv revenue alone. its probably even more than that but it outlines the need for a new 75k seater stadium and quick.

Chelsea tickets are expensive and obviously Arsenal have a new stadium add that to the CL and that will be why.

Potential revenues for us with a new stadium in place is huge

£26.6m of that came from matchday revenues, I *guess* it would be a similar figure for Arsenal (I can't say it with conviction, as I haven't seen Arsenal's figures), so in essence - despite their Champions League money, our advertising, sponsorship and retail money keeps us up there - for how long is another debate.

So, like you said above Exiled_Red, Champions League will put us back up there, with an improved stadium consolidating our position further.

Arsenals match day revenue will be considerably more than Chelsea

The Emirates capacity is 60,000 Stamford Bridge is 42,500

Arsenal have the highest ticket prices in the league
