ok, so it was clearly my intention to ask if anybody is considering paying themselves and coming over for a match or two. brooklyn red and i are thinking we're probably down for the fenway game (as well as the fragrant miss a) (this is supposing they are able to work it out for this year, but werner has said this is likely).

some of you get the travel bug, i know. so is anyone thinking about it?

I can't justify a trip to the States, as much I would love to.

was hoping for it, but february has been a seriously ****ed up month financially. there was a funeral to travel to, then i had to not work and cover for my sister for some days, and then my computer died, and i can't be without my computer as i need it for one of my many jobs. it was sort of rebuild my computer or go to england this year, and i was planning on putting off the other, but i can't now. and that was before all the other expenses.

oh, also paypal charged my account twice for one purchase and still hasn't put the money back in my account, and i have racked up over $100 in overage fees because of it. i meant to spend half my money, but not all of it!

probably wind up taking at least one trip this summer though, but it'll have to be one that doesn't need a ton of planning or warning. it'll be too soon to buy airfare that far.

I'll be in Boston from August 18th. I guess that will be too late. Do we normally have a midweek match after the first weekend of the season?
