Henry's wife Pizzuti gets taste of Liverpool training camp with legends Fowler and Rush
She was so eager to join in with the famous Anfield atmosphere, she took to a fans' forum to learn the songs before her first visit.
And now it seems Linda Pizzuti – the glamorous wife of Liverpool owner John W. Henry – wants to learn to play the Liverpool way too.
Pizzuti joined club legends Ian Rush and Robbie Fowler at a coaching session in Boston on the first leg of Liverpool’s pre-season tour of North America on Tuesday
Pizzuti lauded the 'force and spirit' of the Kop when she visited Anfield for the first time in November 2010, admitting she joined in with a rendition of 'You’re not singing anymore' as Liverpool beat Napoli 3-1 in a Europa League tie.
And with Rush and Fowler taking part in an LFC Foundation training session with local school kids at Camp Harbor View, near Boston, she dropped by to get the latest news from the club.
Pizzuti was pictured with the two coaches and 'cheeky' new mascot Mighty Red and also tweeted a picture of a 40ft climbing wall, which she claimed Fowler and most of the Foundation coaches scaled with ease.
Liverpool play the first of three matches on their North American Tour against Major League Soccer side FC Toronto in the Canadian city on Saturday.
They then face Roma at Fenway Park in Boston – home of the Boston Red Sox baseball team also owned by Henry - on July 25 and Tottenham in Baltimore on July 28.
Liverpool touched down in Boston on Monday to start pre-season preparations, although many of the players who featured in the European Championships are not due back until next week.
It means manager Brendan Rodgers is likely to give a number of young players a run out against Toronto, with Raheem Sterling and Nathan Eccleston among those set to play.
It’s possible that new £10m signing Fabio Borini could make his debut against former club Roma in Boston after the striker said he would cut short his summer break to link up with his new teammates.
Rodgers said: ‘Fabio will come out next week with the England players, and that’s a great demonstration of his commitment to Liverpool.
‘He was involved with Italy right the way through to the final and I’d given him the time off, like the others – four weeks.
‘He was due to come back on August 1 but he made it very clear when he came that he wanted to get back and train with the group.
'We’ve agreed that he’ll come out next week and we’re looking forward to seeing him. He is very determined and committed to doing well and I’m sure he’ll play some part in some of the games once he’s over here.’
Liverpool’s strikeforce could be further bolstered by the £10m signing of Fulham’s Clint Dempsey, with the deal set to be concluded by the end of the week.
It remains unclear, however, whether Andy Carroll will join the tour, with West Ham and Newcastle interested in the England forward.
Fit as !! I am guessing that must be at least wife Number 2
