i think it depends whether you view the game as a one off, or just another game in the season. On one hand we did what we needed to do and won some silverware. On the other, we showed the problems that have plagued our season so often. I'm more minded to think about the latter, but each to their own.

for me cup finals are about winning the trophy, they're rarely great performances (not just LFC) but as long as you get the win thats all that matters. We need to use this now though as a kickstart to the rest of our season as it's a huge monkey off our back and I'm hoping it spurs the team on to bigger and better things.

I just find it weird, and yeah same for anyone else who was posting on there, I can understand in a league game or something but werent you a nervous wreck? Do you half concentrate on the tv and half on your computer? Just think it's weird for a Cup Final, the odd post is understandable to be fair but loads?!

I dont care how we played, Cup Finals are about winning and enjoying the moment, just dont get how you are so utterly miserable.

I wasn't nervous no, and I wasn't sat on my laptop non stop - I posted the odd bit here and there, mainly at half time. For me its good to have a discussion on whats happening from people who know whats going on. My sons like football, but they aren't going to give anything insightful.

To be fair Kenneth posted something there earlier I agreed with completely - I watched it as just another game and saw us displaying the same faults and weaknesses as we have against all manner of "lesser" teams all season.

You need to get football out of your life then, if winning a trophy like this makes you utterly dejected then defeats must make you suicidal.
