I set my Tivo box to record it, but obviously when it went into extra time and penos, that ****ed things up. My recording stops just before the end of extra time, so it's missed off the penalties

I kinda wanted the whole thing on one recording, with penalties, post match reaction, interviews and celebrations.

Its the first trophy we have won in 6 years and you are on a Liverpool forum slagging off the team and saying it feels wrong. I just can't understand it whatsoever and I am not really sure why you support Liverpool if that's how you really feel.

FFS - I don't need to go back over why I felt a bit flat after the final. If you look at it dispassionately, we laboured against a team in a league below us that has enjoyed a fraction of the investment we have had.

Ok sure, finals are one offs and players are able to raise their games for the singular occasions, there's often just a split second in decision making that makes the difference between a good player and an average one - I get that.

I take exception to someone telling me to **** off because I see something slightly differently to someone else. Yes I'm happy we won a trophy, but the game could have been won a lot more easily. I felt flat after the game because it really didn't need to be that difficult and today was another example of our poor chance conversion rate, Henderson on the right was a waste, he never will be a right sided midfielder. Gerrard might have been better used further up the pitch when we were chasing the game. We might have made life easier if we had retained possession at the end of the game.

WavyDavy - no climbdown, and I'm not "slagging off" the team or any less of a supporter (whatever the **** that means) because I wasn't running round whooping and hollering when the final whistle went. There are shades of grey.

Sometimes you just have to accept that other people have different opinions and see things differently.

I've felt more elated with league wins when we have played well than in a one off match. Sorry, I just didn't feel all gooey earlier on because we drew with Cardiff.

It's not about saying something negative about a player. No one thinks we are perfect it's just the ****e like we've had a couple saying we shouldnt be too happy, we've had someone whinging that Carra's son was about, we've had someone saying get rid of Kenny in the summer and we've had some saying they were "embarrassed and deflated" at winning. It's utter bonkers. If people honestly cant get happiness from this they need to get rid of football from their lives.

Any idea what Carra was getting at in the Sky interview? The Sky guy was giving him some needle - along the lines of "you're not first team anymore are you?", Carra came back at him with something along the lines of "You were lucky to keep your job at Sky after the Wolves story". The interview just sort of stopped dead.

Obviously a choice comeback that hit home but anyone know what the story was?
