but we were playing an out of form Championship side, who are only just edging the play offs.. FFS..

If people get carried away with this then it just papers over the real issues..

Certain players didn't perform today and that shouldn't go un noticed after the celebrations..

Great win, great to get a cup at Wembley but we were one kick away from not getting it..

They handled our strikers with ease.

I'm really not convinced by this. I have to say the down beat tone on here really surprises me. I was watching this in a random bar in San Diego but most people there thought it was a great game which we dominated. We had a fair number of chances and (as has been frequently the case) failed to convert. Still Carroll had several headers on goal and Suarez gave them trouble on several occasions. Should have won in normal time but a/ we've not been in great goal scoring form and b/ Cardiff did well with their chances.

We won. It wasn't the most aesthetic victory of all time but we played well and after extra time etc. we won.

There are problems in front of goal and in terms of midfield shape but giving a **** is for another day, today is for celebrating.
