Man this is awful to hear.

So so sad, poor lad only went to watch the football ffs.

    RIP fella. YNWA.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

      This is awful

      RIP

      Thoughts with the family YNWA
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I work in London and go out in town quite a bit but I have never seen it or had it happen to me or anyone I know

Have visited loads of times seeing mates in lots of different locations and have always felt pretty safe wandering around or down on the underground.

One of them got mugged once but it was pretty low key - no weapons just odds of 7 to 2 against.

I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                Mine angry and defrauded young?

What kind of scumbags carry knives on a night out? Scum like that need to be put away for good, the scumbag has lost his right to be part of society.

I bet you the guy who did it doesn't regret it either. This is what youth and gang culture has come to. Ill-educated, ill-informed and a total lack of compassion for a fellow human being.

Did the guy who stabbed him have a previous conviction? My guess would be yes. They should take psychological tests when arrested and, if they fail , they should be locked up and not let out until completely rehabilatated. **** it, I'll pay more tax to keep the scum off the streets. I don't have any sympathy for these ****ers and whatever difficult background they come from. To make a choice of taking a knife out with you to a bar is just evil, pure evil.

                        RIP

I was away on business last week and was in the company of some Aussie blokes from Melbourne

They were complaining of exactly the same thing

The knife culture (in Britain) as well as elsewhere is out of control

In days gone by the worst you had to worry about was getting a good kicking, nowadays your life can be taken

I genuinely dont envy the younger generation going out on the town (wherever that might be) these days
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Actually more than anything it is a case that such things are reported in the media at a significantly higher rate. You are probably as safe now as you have ever been.

Whilst that is partially true there is definitely a larger number of knives being carried around than 20 or 30 years ago

As a young man I can only ever remember seeing one knife being pulled, I've seen quite a few over the last few years on the odd occasion I go out
