Didn't Agger fracture a rib earlier in the season?

Team for tearing the Arse a new one:
------------------------Reina---------------------------
Johnson------Carragher----------Skrtel-----------Enrique
------------Spearing-----------Adam--------------------
Kuyt----------------Suarez----------------------Downing
---------------------Carroll------------------------------
Plenty of quality subs: Doni, Kelly, Coates, Henderson, Maxi, Bellamy, +1.
I feel that would contain Arsenals attack well, and I think we would give them a little to think about the other way.
IMO Adam has improved in defence
Kuyt will be buzzing after his two Wembley performances
Suarez is Suarez
Downing will be the most confident we have seen him yet
Then there is Carroll. If he's in the mood he will have a field day against an Arsenal side with only Meertesaker able to cope with him. Sadly for the Gunners he is injured!

You are slightly more positive that me though. The way i see it we have 2 misfiring strikers, a weak midfield and inconsistent wingers.
RVP against Carra worries me no end. And Enrique has been well off form. Maybe i'm a glass is half empty kinda guy

I think we'll see Hendo for Kuyt but other than that I think you got is spot on.Originally posted by DKdan View PostTeam for tearing the Arse a new one:

Yup, I guess the team pretty much picks itself this week.Originally posted by Mostar View PostI think we'll see Hendo for Kuyt but other than that I think you got is spot on.
I think Kuyt and Downing will both keep their places for this one. Bellamy played 70-odd minutes last night so I can't see him starting on Saturday.
Would be good to see Maxi start or at least get some minutes.

I worry most about Carra at the back trying to counter the pace of the Arse forwards. We've seen all too often this season and last when he plays we defend far too deep, and his last ditch slide tackle ends up giving away a pen.
Really hoping Gerrard will be ok, but I blame Lfc for not withdrawing him from a pointless match (for him) after he played a 2hr match just 2 days before - knowing he's only recently come back from a long-term layoff??!!
Oh... Could someone tell me how Rooney got 12 days off with a throat infection again with no doctors note...?
Your too good to be true, can't take the ball off you you got a heavenly touch, you pass like Sounness to rush. And when we're pissed in the bars we thank the Lord that your ours

He'll be fine, we've already beat them to nil this season with him in the team, though he does look better alongside Agger than Skrtel. But these aren't all that anyway.Originally posted by Mattimetal View PostI worry most about Carra at the back trying to counter the pace of the Arse forwards. I have a good feeling about this one. I dont think Arsenal is all that. Walcott will have a tough time against Enrique and both Downing and Kuyt wont leave half the space Spurs did.Originally posted by danperkins View PostWill prob be the team

I'd too would play Kuyt ahead of Hendo but both played 90 minutes yesterday so given Kuyt's age I think Kenny may give him little more rest and bring him from the bench in final 3rd if the result is not in our favor.Originally posted by DKdan View PostI REALLY hope Kuyt starts. Hendo brings nothing to the side if played on the right IMO.
How do we expect Arse to line up?
I expect Arsenal to line up very similar to Spurs game so something like
Szczesny
Sagna
Koscielny
Vermaelen
Gibbs
Song
Arteta
Rosicky
Walcott
Gervinho
RVPMember #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

Gibbs will find it hard with Kuyt and Downing interchanging.Originally posted by Mostar View Post

RVP
Not much fight in their midfield other than Song and he will be busy with Suarez.
RVP is a brilliant player but Gervinho is a ****house. IMO this will be a much harder game for them then the Spurs game.
Bring them on!!!!
