Enrique has been positionally suspect all season.
As others have said his recovery pace hides that, also most fans think he's great as he's our best left back in 15-20 years.
I think Enrique is fantastic for us at the minute, a top 6 left back, we'll have to see if he improves with us.

Also for me he takes 2-3 touches too many all the time before passing the ball, generally running into his left wingers space, it seems every game he is trying to show that he is quick and strong with his outside hook and dallying on it.

Just pass the bloody ball quicker and move
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

True of the whole team. If we did that we would be awesome to watch. And win a few more games!!

That looks like a dive by Suarez.

                Yeah i am

I'm not a big fan of these kind of photos though. They seem to make some fans all warm and fuzzy inside but honestly i could give a twisty f**k if they are laughing in training or not. I want goals dammit

I wouldn't say he has been positionally suspect all season, but he has looked a bit out of sorts recently; we didn't have the best defensive record in the league carrying some passengers.

But yeah, in the last few games, you can look at our defensive errors and he will amongst the players who could have done something to stop us conceding a goal.

I do have concerns about how much pressure he puts on the ball; he seems to close down but stay a yard too much off the player, allowing him to be on his heels to keep at him if he tries to go on the outside, but not close enough to stop a delivery.

I'd also agree with your point about going forward; earlier in the season he seemed to look for the early ball and on occasions showed great vision, but now he seems to check and spin. I suppose the question to ask is, is he being asked to do that? He seems to slow down the play to allow other players to join the attack which is in contrast to how we started the season, so is it a tactical choice? His link up with Downing has room for improvement, Downing pretty much always comes short, lays it off for Enrique, spins the full back and goes long - Enrique seems to struggle on occasions to get the ball out of his feet and on to his left side, meaning the opportunity has gone.

I think he's another player that will benefit from a season with us, under the tutelage of Kenny and Clarke.

Last time we played Arsenal at Anf, Roy was in charge, Joe Cole was sent off, Torres was on bench and Dave Ngog scored. Changes.

Wow when you put it like that, things are so different now.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Ngog's goal was class and we'd have won if not for a Reina mistake.

Perhaps we'll see Kuyt pushed further up.

Means Henderson on the right though, eek.
