we can't rely on gerrard forever anyway. he's not 25 anymore and is becoming more and more injury prone - groin ops, hamstring problems etc. it ain't looking good.

Laugable really. And the most galling part is that most of the players themselves wouldn't have it any other way.

Huh? These players can't win. On the one hand they are passionless lazy millionaires happy to pick up their wages, and on the other, they are stupid for wanting to represent the country they love, playing the game they love.
