We also have significantly more corners won than other teams - but we ain't scoring from them. It all boils down to us not being threatening/clinical enough. More training required.

And also not beating the first man on corners. I'd like Downing and Adam removed from corner taking permanently.

Replace Adam with Alonso and this team would be challenging IMO.

bit unfair. adam has at least contributed with assists and goals. its in the wide areas were there has been little/no contribution

and carroll with rush, henderson with souness, mcmahon or hamann, downing with barnes or heighway, and our current RW [whoever that may be on any given day] with mcmanaman, and our left back with alan kennedy or risse.
            sorted.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

That would be awesome, but for now I think getting Xabi back will suffice. He has unfinished business here still.

Any stattos know what the record for hitting the post in one season is?
We've got to have that one sewn up.

i dont watch the spanish footy to keep up with his current level of input, but maybe his day has passed
how we have been blessed with the presence and input of some of the best players ever to lace up a pair of boots. we remember them with fondness and pride, but do we want them to burst our bubbles of love and have them come back in the latter stages of their career and burst that bubble.

Think Sky showed a stat saying that the Mancs had 28 one season.

Well we'd better get on with it. Not having the Mancs getting all of the records.

I would also like to have Ferugson thrown into a lake and see if he floats.
I'd stick him on a fire and see if he spits

On stats there's an interesting stat on the SKY site http://www.skysports.com/story/0,195...705370,00.html that shows on 2nd half performance we are 13th in the league.

Wonder if it indicates something about fitness or bottling.

This is why we have coaches, but I just don't think we're putting in enough practice in this part of our play. And its clearly showing.
Fowler was a natural. He could hit it so sweetly with little, if any, backlift.
