I've only ever gone for weekend papers and occasionally the 'i'. But I do like the Sunday papers...

As much I'm glad Glenn came forward and express his support to Luis and his innocence I'm worried this will just fuel the media's reaction that will impact our preparation for Sunderland and few other games and put Suarez in the spot light again.

Double aged sword. Great to hear his defence of Suarez but at same time will add fuel to the fire and create yet another platform. Done now anyways and the reaction to it as predicted has been immediate.

Put me in with the group that's happy GJ spoke out. I'm actually glad that our players and fans are continuing to keep this topic on the boil. If we walk away from it and let it go, Saurez will forever be branded a racist and the club's name sullied along with it. But, if we keep the pressure on Evra, United, the FA, and the media and continue to highlight the hypocrisy that has underlined this case from the very beginning, eventually the ivory tower that they're all sitting in will come crashing down. These kind of issues are never easy, and there are going to be dark days when even us as fans get smeared with the tar brush. Once we waver and let those ****wits win, we'll never hear the end of it. Every time the team features in the media there will be references to the incident. The only way to stop it is to not let it rest until the miscarriage of justice is exposed. An innocent man will fight for his freedom for as long as it takes, and his family will stand behind him every step of the way.

It is good that Johnson a/ feels so genuinely about Suarez and b/ is willing to speak about it. Not convinced that it will in any way reduce the branding of Suarez as a racist or any of the surrounding circus though.

The club really ****ed up handling this and I don't think the damage is repairable by anything but a long period of time.
