No matter how you spin it with this "performances" stuff", our league position, our points tally and our goals scored are all completely unacceptable. Kenny has had more support than any LFC manager in recent memory, from fans, media, whoever, and has had more money. Yet we're doing worse than ever.

Still, we passed it quite nicely for 25 minutes last night.
We are not doing worse than ever

I dont see us near the bottom of the table like we were under Roy

I dont care whether you think its scapegoating - Suarez has failings and its interesting that more and more people are highlighting these and doubting whether hes as good as others believe

And besides they're not all that much better anyway.
Not all that much better than they were under Hodgson?

Come on mate, you know they have been. Under Hodgson, for half a season, i could barely count 2 games that we genuinely deserved to win. Under Kenny, you'll easily take that figure into double figures, even across just the first half of the season.

And you also know, contrary to '**** performances' that under normal circumstances, across a period of time, if your performances are good, your results are far more likely to follow suit. Nobody just plays **** as a rule and amasses a decent tally of points. We both know that just doesnt happen.

We would be if we started the season like this, this is a far worse run than anything we went on with Roy. 2 wins and 6 defeats in ten and 8 points out of the last 30, that is shocking.

That said I'd have brought him on and wouldnt have played Carragher
Yeah but that was 5 or 6 months ago, he had a spell out of the squad and deservedly so but playing Carra right back was (rightly) criticised when Rafa did it on occasions.
No point having him involved if the manager doesn't feel he can use him, worst feeling in the world as a player knowing your manager doesn't trust you when the 2 lads ahead of you are injured.

I understand people bemoaning conceding those goals but I think its skewing their judgement of the season

People are angry and rightly so but I think that anger is clouding their judgement IMO
Bang on the money. Regarding Hodgson's time, people really do have short memories, it was only about 18 months ago, yet too much of how ****e it was has seemingly been forgotten.

Simplest of analogies, regardless of the outcome last night, the vast majority of us went into the game thinking we'd win. That was never the case under Roy, especially away from home.

What I dont get though. Is why highlight them on the player who has been one of our best all season.

Why is the thread about Downing/Henderson/Adam/Carragher/Reina not as big as this.

They have been much worse. Why go after Luis?
              *Except Michael, who died.

                But we didnt

Thats like saying Suarez would be a worldbeater if he took his chances he gets week in week out - he doesnt - so he isnt

                  Its about expectation

I dont expect much from those others

I expect more from Suarez he has enormous skill but imo little end product

3 league goals and 7 league assists between them. Our midfield is seriously culpable for our season.

I've never bet against us this season

I won over £400 on blakcpool beating us at home last season

High lighting suarez's faults seems very strange, saying our performances have been acceptable enough that we should forget results is bizarre.

Agreed just pointing out his confidence looked shot early on in the season

Yes but are on that run now, it is no better now or the start of the season.

                              Suarez is not our problem.
