I was thinking the same as they played like that for the first 20 minutes and I just couldn't get that at all.

Both players' strength is to play on the opposite sides and we switched to the sides that are beyond ineffective.

I don't get it either, feels very naive IMO. OK so this tactic has yielded one goal all season, but countless attacks have also broken down with them receiving the ball on the wrong foot.
