Newcastle are 8 points above us, on the same number of games. They are a much better team than us. Depressing

On topic tho, this is a must win after the Bitters leapfrogged us today. That means a draw probably!

Interesting pic. Check who is first "out of the gate" and who is last

It's quite hard to get 'up for' games just now. Sterling needs to play just for a bit of excitement.

I really want to see more of Coates and it would be nice to see Shelvey finally given a chance.

Henderson has plenty of them and I think Jonjo deserves to start a couple.

I want to see the kids get a game, but I really don't want to lose this, Shelvey would have it hard against there midfield.

If fit i'd go for this team:

                    Reina

                    Johnson/Kelly/Flanagan
                    Skrtel
                    Agger/Coates
                    Enrique

                    Spearing
                    Gerrard

                    Kuyt
                    Suarez
                    Downing

                    Carroll

Subs: Doni, Carra/Coates, Kelly/Flanno, Henderson, Maxi, Sterling, Bellamy

My Geordie mate is cacking it about them having Perch & Williamson at the back. Suarez could have a field day if we turn up. Only thing I'd be a little worried about is Ben Arfa's form, that lad has talent and now he's getting a run of games is starting to show it too. If we manage him well though I think we should be ok.

*prays we do or I don't think I'll be able to stomach this place*

Not a lot more than 5 mins though. I really think people are pushing this one too far too fast just because our other wingers (ie Downing) have been such a disappointment. Not that Sterling doesn't have something, because he definitely does, but too much too early will not be good in the long run with him, physically he really is just a kid still.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

This is the game where people who never score do score.

                            My money is on Spearo!

•Liverpool have won six of their last seven meetings with Newcastle. The only exception was the Magpies' 3-1 victory in this fixture last season, which was also Alan Pardew's first match in charge.

•The winning team has scored a minimum of three goals in the last seven league meetings between theses two sides.

I just realised this match is on TV. May aswell watch it, even though afterwards i'll probably regret doing so.
