Newcastle are 8 points above us, on the same number of games. They are a much better team than us. Depressing

On topic tho, this is a must win after the Bitters leapfrogged us today. That means a draw probably!

My Geordie mate is cacking it about them having Perch & Williamson at the back. Suarez could have a field day if we turn up. Only thing I'd be a little worried about is Ben Arfa's form, that lad has talent and now he's getting a run of games is starting to show it too. If we manage him well though I think we should be ok.
*prays we do or I don't think I'll be able to stomach this place*

Actually, can't be, not fat enough.
Not a lot more than 5 mins though. I really think people are pushing this one too far too fast just because our other wingers (ie Downing) have been such a disappointment. Not that Sterling doesn't have something, because he definitely does, but too much too early will not be good in the long run with him, physically he really is just a kid still.Originally posted by Rocky Sullivan View Postfeeling confident, bit more than 5 minutes for sterling please..I could not dig, I dared not rob:

I've been feeling very meh for the last few weeks
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

•Liverpool have won six of their last seven meetings with Newcastle. The only exception was the Magpies' 3-1 victory in this fixture last season, which was also Alan Pardew's first match in charge.
•The winning team has scored a minimum of three goals in the last seven league meetings between theses two sides.
