I think Kenny has put more than enough years service into this club, more than most of us have been alive, to deserve a real crack at it, on his terms. There is no way on earth he should be sacked in the summer. You appoint him, you believe in him and you let him get on with it. Commolli was never going to work just like it wouldn't with Fergie or a Clough. On football matters at this club, Kenny should answer to no one but the chairman/owners. Kenny will know in his heart of hearts whether he's up to this job.

I ddin't read it as something to do with Commoli, I read it as something to do with Brukner

And if Kenny is not going with the help of Sports Science because he wants a more traditional regime we could be in danger of moving backwards while other teams move forwards.

I may have misinterpreted the tweet, and if I have fair enough. But if what I mentioned is true, I'm not too happy with that.

You do realise they're looking for a replacement, that Kenny said it himself he picked the players in the summer.

He's pretty much had it on his terms like Comolli had it on his terms. Kenny's not going to have sole control. It may be tweaked as Werner said, but that's it.

Kenny doesn't need a director of football. It serves no purpose.

But I do think they will get someone in to replace Commolli in some way, doesn't mean its right though.

I also think Kenny will be out in the summer and it'll be a dark dark day in this clubs history. I don't think the owners have any real idea how to run a football club. If they're talking to that boring cunt Thompkin about whats needed, we're truly ****ed. They talk a good game. Only time will tell if they're up to it. Unlike Kenny, I have nothing to base my trust in them with.

You do realise that Kenny toed the party line here? It would have been preposterous of him to state any differently, that would have been akin to rocking the boat.

I don't know what Commoli was doing whilst he was here, he seemed pointless. I'm glad he's gone, it proves that FSG won't tolerate failure. Rafa polarises opinion, but I really hope this signals his return. Anyone who won't work with Rafa can follow Commoli out of the door as far as I'm concerned.

Interesting fit with some of our suspicions about FSG being sold a pup:

Great to see they're getting to grips with things quickly and that they're willing to make changes.

That's what it says pretty much and it's reassuring that they won't wait before rectifying things.

Lads, it really looks like Comolli today, Kenny tomorrow.

The yanks are obviously flexing their muscles.

                      Interesting times!

Kenny wont be sacked. I am 99.99% sure of that.

I am also very worried about apperent reports that FSG are ringing fans up asking what they need to do

Yea, idd certainly take what he said with a huge pinch of salt

I bet they are even more concerned that someone they speak to for an opinion is splashing it all over the Internet.
