Thanjk you.

Hope you're right Fredo. However, I wouldn't be surprised if a new manager was appointed during the summer (someone's calling the shots and I don't think it's KD).
I'm sure you'd agree that the amount of disrespectful posts about Kenny Dalglish is astonishing. I can understand the hatred from Utd fans like Frank, but from Liverpool fans
I took loads of pelters for not whooping and hollering after the Carling Cup win.
and? I wasn't swinging from the lampshades for the carling cup. still ****ing delighted though. if we win the FA cup you'll be overjoyed. If not you may as well say your goodbyes to world and stick your head in the nearest gas oven.
If you can't enjoy winning trophies after going so long without, there's little point following football. seriously I'd find something better to do with my saturdays.

Can't help but think Cruyff is Ajax, Butragueno is Real, Beckenbauer is Bayern - Dalglish is Liverpool
He seems to get into arguments, Cruyff.
I don't see why Dalglish isn't the man to do the figurehead thing, and a younger man is brought in to manage the team.
Dalglish admitted the signings were his; the performances are poor, FSG aren't happy - why is it a man who is only responsible for half of the problem is sacked (because Comolli wasn't involved tactically) and the man allegedly causing the whole problem, keeps his job?
It seems a bit odd to me.
If you're asking dalglish to be DOF, then you're asking him to work in the areas which are not his strengths imo. For example, strategy, contracts, continuity, setting up and maintaining scouting networks. Most people would probably say his strengths are man management and working with players day to day.
In many ways, Rafa is the perfect DOF. Sees the bigger picture. Invests in networks and strategy. Trouble is, he is a control freak and would still want to get involved with team affairs.
Kenny wont be sacked in the summer. But he also wont be manager at the start of next season.
I think the same.
Sacking Kenny now would have been disasterous especially knowing that we let 4 people go yesterday.
We need to try to stabilize club until summer and imo Kenny in charge until the end of the season is just that.
That said, I wouldn't be surprised a bit if Kenny (or FSG) would announce as soon as the season is over that he is stepping down but will maintain a very active role with the club just in a different capacity.

You know what, this was the kind of **** I was fed up of reading when I said I wasn't ecstatic after they won the cup. Its really childish - so I wasn't as happy as you were, so I should give up watching football? Like any football fan has a ****ing choice in the matter anyway?! Laughable.
There are shades of grey, its not all black and white - this is akin to the people who are blamed of being haters because they disagree with someone else's opinion.
Look at Sean_LFC the other night - the single most positive poster on this site, puts a post up saying he didn't get the glee some did from the Blackburn game and is told to **** off, that he's not a fan, to give up watching - is ridiculous fundamentalism.
After the Carling Cup, I found it difficult to break out of the disappointment of the worst league campaign I can ever remember, and I thought it disingenuous to fake something I didn't feel. I'm not going to come on here and lie just to ****ing fit in.
Pepe on Facebook "Hi geniuses! Tomorrow we play the FA Cup semi-final against Everton! I can't play, but I'm sure Brad will do just fine! Anfield will be with him and the team to arrive to other final!
Hola genios! Mañana nos espera la semifinal de la FA Cup contra el Everton! Yo no podré jugar, pero estoy seguro de que Brad lo hará muy bien! Anfield estará de su lado y con el equipo para llegar a otra final!"

I haven't said you needed to be happy winning the carling cup. I too felt a bit non fussed as the performance was flat. but once it was over and I looked back, I was delighted we won it.
The FA cup is different, if a fan of a club, certainly any club that hasn't been winning many trophies recently can't get excited then I honestly can't see the point.
I'm not saying you're not a fan or I'm a better one.
Merely suggesting in my most sympathetic manner, that if one doesn't gain satisfaction or enjoyment from the winning of trophies I struggle to see the point of bothering with it all.
I'm gutted also about our league form. But the cups have been a welcome distraction. I'm also more than happy for Kenny to carry on and try and get us up that league. There is no one else on the planet I'd want more.
