Bizarre people.
You just summed up my mother in law totally.

I would say we do agree. The attributes you have pointed out about the daily job are the bits I referred to. That's the trouble with Rafa. He could be brilliant at any single aspect of his job, but he can't let go or delegate any of those parts. Brilliant coach, brilliant tactician, brilliant strategist, brilliant politician. It's all or nothing. That leaves him in a very difficult place.
      Oh I don't know.

Rafa is not a brilliant politician. At Valencia & Liverpool he left the clubs owners despising him.

On both occasions it was Rafas frustration with owners who were not as ambitious as he was. But a clever person would have known when to cross the line and when not too.

Rafa got too big for his boots at Liverpool. He thought he was bullet proof and found out that when expectations are high and are not reached, no one is safe in football.

The only possible thing that may save Kenny is the success in the cups. 6 years without anything and we'll have come at the very least, close to winning two cups. Not to be sniffed at.

That said, coming below Everton in the league and getting a lesson in football of them in a semi-final, would likely obliterate the majority of the good will towards Kenny.

        Knife edge.
        Forwards.......

It would take a hell of a lot more that that to obliterate my good will for Dalglish. And I don't think I'm alone.

Heh, just got back from holiday.... so Commolli got sacked then? Well, with no element of smugness really, I had been going on about his role for weeks, can't say I'm impossibly surprised. He really does seem to have been "The French Parry".

What's the talk then (not reading 76 pages or whatever) a replacement? Can't see Cruyff leaving Spain.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
            Mine angry and defrauded young?

              Out:

              Damien Comolli (Director of Football)
Peter Bruckner (Head of Sports Medicine & Sports Science)
              John Achterberg (Goalkeeping Coach)
Andy Scolding (Head of Technical Analysis)

Rumoured replacements for Damien Comolli are:
              - Johan Cruyff
              - Louis Van Gaal
              - Tixi Begiristain
              - Ricardo Sa Pinto (Sporting manager so unlikely)

Tom Werner gave full support for Kenny Dalglish and said Ian Ayre was fantastic (boo). Said that they're looking for replacement, may tweak current structure. No significant change to management.

Wow, ok, thanks dude. Achterberg going is an interesting sideline, few people had been discussing his impact on our goalies of late.

I do guess that this shows Commolli had indeed had a major role in our transfer negotiations etc So..... FSG arne't pulling out then? Insiders fail.

That list of potential replacements looks a bit random to me. Cruyff won't happen, and I'm not sure I can see Van Gaal in that role working alongside Kenny. Don't know enough about the others.

Tixi Begiristain is who I would want

Barca DOF from 2003 - 2010 left when Laporta went

Graham Hunter reckons that Chelsea are doing everything they can to get him

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
