As I said, all we can do is speculate, but hopefully the owners will know the score.

Lecter, the reports say the transfer fee is 23.5 million. Why would the add ons not be announced? If you're right, that's pretty unusual isn't it? You also seem to be speculating on Downing and Mata's wages as though what you're saying is fact. Is it fact, or are you guessing? It's quite hard to tell sometimes.
Marca say the bid accepted was £28 million, AS said it was €30 million

It's all seems to have gone very quiet regarding Comolli's replacement.

It's probably going to be announced before we even hear a whisper of who it is.

I do like how few leaks there are from FSG.

I just hope they get the right man.

I do worry who is advising FSG on his replacement and even more so who will then advise them over the decision to be made about Dalglish

My biggest concern in all of this.

Any idea who that person is?

Wasn't there something about David Dein being an advisor or did I imagine that?

To be fair, it doesn't take a football genius to work out Camolli should be sacked over Carroll etc.

Well apparently, Henry's been on the phone to Paul Tomkins.

A DOF would have input regarding the manager's future too. Right now, we don't have one.

They've got Ayre (bangs head against wall) and that's all we know. EDIT: Reece mentioned David Dein. Been a few murmurs about him.

Wasn't Parry/Purslow still advising FSG in a unofficial capacity.

                    If true we're absolutely ****ed.
                    We come not to play.

If Dein is advising I again have concerns over this

As good as Dein is as a CEO hes an Arsenal fan who has ambitions to return to the Arsenal board

If he is advising them hes doing it on an informal basis (without any contractual agreement or position within the club)

Any advice from Dein comes with no accountability without a contract, it also doesnt show FSG in a good light. It appears they are incapable of employing someone to actually work within the club who should be making these kind of decisions and thats a worry for me

                            Nicked off YNWA

General consensus on his sacking is that it was the financial negotiations rather than the ability to spot a player. He's not going to recommend a full quota of duds anyway. What about Kenny's opinion as well?

Here's a rumour for yaz - this was from a bloke who sat next to us at the match, who assured us that he doesn't normally believe rumours but he knows this fella, see, and he's always spot on about everythink, etc etc.....

...anyways, the reason that that Comolli got ditched was because Kenny was given a £20m January budget and lined up 3 signings he wanted including, wait for it, Jelavic (!!!). Now, word is that Comolli poo poo-ed Jelavic and others and blocked the purchases.....the rest is Jelavic chaped history.

That could make sense, I'm not sure I believe it though.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
