Absolutely disgraceful , 13 defeats this season.

Carroll certainly seemed to be the only one up for it
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

weakened side, but really should be able to do better.

Its difficult because our league games are nothing games at the moment so we can't read much into it, but then we have players on here fighting for a place on the weekend so you'd expect a better performance.

The reality is that our squad is terribly thin in quality.

****. Those players should have steped up tonight wit a place in the cup final squad at stake. There seems to be an attitude at LFC which has been here for a number of years that when you sign for LFC you have made it. When we were the best simply signing for LFC meant you had to prove yourself good enough to be here. Not the case these days

I know theres a bigger picture but that's one of the worst performances from a Liverpool team that i can remember.

You had some players conserving themselves for the FA Cup final, too many sub standard players and a bad attitude all round.

The only positive was Sterling, who was infinitely more dangerous than Downing.

Can't wait for the end of the season.
                    We come not to play.

Don't agree at all. Think he was one of the better players.

Coates was at fault for the goal. Sluggish and doesn't have positional sense at all.
                        Are we winning?

Hey Daniel, you have (clap x 5) in your signature about Hodgson, if it's the standard clap chant that I'm thinking of, wouldn't it be 6 claps?! DE-DE-DA-DA-DA-DA?!

I would have thought that changing 9 persons in the starting lineup would produce a show of why those 9 should start more - apparently not. That was a really lackluster performance from the team and none that got the chance today showed why things should change.

I know the game doesn't matter any bit whatsoever, would just have been nice to see more determination and ambitition from the reserves/squad players.

Really poor game from both sides, and it took an own goal to produce anything.

He made up for it and grew into the game. He is still new to the league. He is going to be a great player.
