makes me laugh how some on here are crying over a goal that was or wasn't over the line!gad we been good enough we would have won the game outright in 90 minutes .......

I actually thought Downing was better than Bellamy (not that that means he played well), at least some threat came from Downing, Bellamy offered nothing the only threat down the right came from Johnson.Originally posted by Skrtelmania View PostI'm actually traumatised by our left side today, Enrique and Downing were unbelievably bad. Just when I thought they couldn't get any worse it was time to go to another level.
It would have been nice to play Chelsea in a cup final with a midfield too. At the very least bring Shelvey on for Henderson with 20 to go.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I disagree. I was saying yesterday that if we had won the cup it would have just been papering over the cracks. It would've been awesome of course but it would have been deflecting away from what has been a disgusting league season.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostPeople calling for Kenny's head...if we'd won, they wouldn't be. Seems fickle.
Carroll was superb, feel for him.
Anyway, I just want to know if it was over or not. Still don't know.
If it was Hodgson in charge now and he had lost more than a Third of the total league games for the season people would not be as forgiving as we are because of the fact it's Kenny.
I spent a few hundred quid going to watch that shower of **** he put out yesterday and ultimately, he is responsible. It's his side, his tactics. He obviously can't be blamed for some of the performances but the game plan was his.
I genuinely don't know what I want at the minute but I know that if we had won the cup my doubt about Kenny wouldn't have disappeared. 13 league defeats and mid table mediocrity would still be there.
Ending on a positive, I think Carroll is going to be awesome for us. He is getting better and better a the minute and was outstanding yesterday.

If Woy was in charge, the whole site would be demanding his head. This has been an appalling season, absolutely appalling. There has been no hint of consistency, not even a sniff, and if we don't seem to know what our footballing ethos is now, after one and half seasons, then we clearly aren't being led with a vision. Its all a bit spontaneous, in fact the only thing thats not is our substitutions, which seem to take an age.Originally posted by poorscousertommy View PostI disagree. Time for a change unfortunately, the team is going nowhere.

Well I thought it was ****ing in, still think it was in, and there was only one winner from there. You see those given all the time - sure it wasn't conclusive but I think it was in.
Even with being utter **** for an hour, having the huge handicap of Spearing in the team, plus Downing, Henderson and Enrique being ****, yet IMO we still should've gone on to win that game. We gifted them two goals, they had to do nothing brilliant to beat us, and aside from the goals didn't test us at all.
Couldn't face coming on here last night I was so depressed. Still depressed. A City win today will lift the gloom a bit, but **** me losing a final is a rare feeling for us and I hate it.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

According to the Express this morning;Originally posted by Shaggy View PostAs for Jay Spearing, I don't enjoy slaughtering one of our own so it's best I say no more about him. ****ing livid with him yesterday. Just go to Leicester or something.
Not sure whether to laugh at that or cry...On Wembley’s hallowed turf, it was the homegrown Jay Spearing, a player who did not cost a penny, who rose to the challenge, rather than his costlier colleague. He buzzed around and passed the ball intelligently.I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?
