ok will agree with you , he definitely should have stopped the first and maybe I am being harsh about the second. But he has not been the same keeper this season, and I am judging him on the high standards he usually sets himself. I think we really need a reserve keeper who is going to push him hard for the jersey.

Oh totally agree - he's been below par for a while now.

I've looked at several replays and still can find the angle where the whole ball has crossed the line.

He does , but he was not the worst, Downing as I already said is a disgrace to our jersey and should be transfer listed.

I think the very fact that we are still arguing about it, and the ESPN/UTV couldn't make up their minds with all their computer technology, shows what a difficult call that was. No excuses we weren't good enough and they deserved it.

My reaction at the time was that Carroll's header was over the line, but I think he had the opportunity to follow up and make sure, instead of running off celebrating. That's something that we haven't done at enough of this season following stuff up. It seems harsh to have a go at Carroll for that because his performance was fantastic, but had he done so...

Apart from the obvious mediocre players in Spearing/Henderson & Downing. Reina/Bellamy & Enrique have deteriorated something desperate in 2012!
