Problem is, by not giving the goal, the ref IS giving it one way or the other.

Agree about technology, but surely if in doubt, the ref shouldn't be giving it, rather than the other way round.

In a strange way, I was really touched that Chris remembered something I said, given the amount of people he has detestful thoughts about.
          I think its ****ing creepy.

I quite like flower of Scotland.

It's having a decisive impact on the game whichever way he gives it.

Not being sure it went in is fine, but by the same token he isnt sure it stayed out either.

It wasn't in, The ref did not give it end of. Ref could not possibly give it in real time without video and that shows its inconclusive. If we were 2-1 up and it was given 'most' LFC fans would be ****ing livid.

I think if we were 2-1 up and it was given, ALL LFC fans would've been delighted to have gone 3-1 up

True but the referee can only give what he sees, if he didn't see the ball cross the line then he can't give the goal, so from rules not giving the goal was the right thing to do (whether the ball is subsequently proved to have crossed the line or not). Obviously I would have prefered him to have made the 'wrong' decision and given the goal.

Technology has to come in, it's a joke that we don't have it at the moment, but that's the way it is.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It was a beautiful move and had this been called in, I think a lot of people would have not said what they said today.
