I know our problems this season are down to more than just a bit of luck but i dont think ive ever seen so many posts hit, individual errors punished, poor decisions made by officials, wonder performances from **** opposition goalkeepers or crossbars hit than what we've seen this season

i hope we get some next season

I keep reading the word unlucky in so many threads.

Where have we been unlucky?

Hitting the wood means you're off target.
Not finishing lesser teams off means you are not good enough or lack consistency.
Depending on one player means the squad has no depth and players not making the game after game should not be wearing the shirt.

We have simply not been good enough this season...

I think we have lacked the 'rub of the green' this season.

Luck see's the ball come off the post and go in, or at least fall to a following up player. Bad luck is when it bypasses that on rushing player, or goes wide. Which has happened all season.

Obviously it's not the complete story of our season, but it has played a part.

Our finishing and 'luck' was fine last season under Kenny. Must be a coincidence that our 'luck' disappeared with the arrivals of Adam, Henderson, Downing and the sale of Meireles and sidelining of Maxi. An amazing coincidence.

But we're constantly told by all the pundits and journalists that luck evens itself out over the season. That means that at some point we must have had a huge amount of luck, which I can't remember or that we're going to have dozens of lucky moments in the remaining games

You make your own luck in football. We did it in the 70's and 80's and the Mancs have done it the past 20 years. How by being the best and not settling for second best.
