    Far too simplistic analysis.
    Are we winning?

So is yours, I was just showing a point. Blaming luck is ridiculous, you make your own luck.

I don't think anyone is saying if we'd had a bit more luck all our problems would be solved. But this has been an unusual season, as Craig says a number of things have happened this that wouldn't normally happen whether you want to call this luck or not, it is something and it has had some effect. The extent to which this has happened more than normal is impossible to measure, but IMO we haven't been getting what we have deserved much more often than normal this season.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

We've had really bad luck in that we had one of the worlds best managers in charge of us, at the same time as having the worlds most incompetent owners.

It's not definitively and exclusively clear cut though.

What happens if you finish 2 points behind a team who beat you in a league game through a clearly offside goal, for example?

I think the stats say we are all hurting and I am sure KK is no different.
I will always blame Moores and Parry.

                        I did say commonly.

When you are as far off as we are, it is not luck.

It's entirely conceivable that, come next season, we'll be sticking penalties away for fun and hitting shots that go 6 inches INSIDE the post or hit it and go in.

What we've had this season, i've never seen in all my time watching football. It's honestly beyond explanation.

Some of it is luck, some of it is down to our own shortcomings.

Dont be so black and white.

Luck see's the ball come off the post and go in, or at least fall to a following up player. Bad luck is when it bypasses that on rushing player, or goes wide. Which has happened all season.

Obviously it's not the complete story of our season, but it has played a part.
Other way around i think, imo it's Lucky if the ball comes off a post and does fall for the in coming attacker, because there is far more space for the ball to bounce into rather than straight to an attacker.

You hit the post of fail to score when you should score says either you're **** at finishing or you're unlucky. If you've put yourself in a position to score that's most of the work done.

I'd say we were both unlucky and poor at finishing. We all agree that we need to improve.
