But yes, I would count myself very fortunate to have a season ticket in the first place, and be in a position to go and see the team every week.

I'm sure a free shirt wasn't the gesture she was thinking of as she was getting grief down the blower

          That's uncalled-for.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Ah fair enough, South Africa, the cauldron! If ever I go to Africa I'd love to travel the North, read countless books on Morocco et al and I'd love to go there. I speak French as well so it'd be sort of easy rolling around I guess. I don't have that much of an affinity with Africa for some reason... Anyhoots, looks like you won't be rolling around Anfield too often eh!

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Cheers me dears, always welcome and will do (when I ever make some money and the world hasn't ended eheheh ). Probably the country I've read most books about, completely fascinating that shindig. I'm even up for learning arabic, but one step at a time. Cook Moroccan loads too, pretty much any magreb style kitchen is da bomb, especially Morocco and Lebanon.
