RT @JAM_LFC Suso rejected the chance of a weeks holiday to join up with #LFC team straight away, Carroll on other hand, takes 2 week break.
If Coles assertion that Rodgers is very honest and the managers statement that he had talked to Carroll are both true, then perhaps he took a break because he was told he wasn't wanted.

Sounding the most likely possibility if what the papers are saying are true.
Just a note on the first team of the pre-season, Toronto FC:
They are not good. Watched them a couple of times this year and they are one of the worst MLS teams I've seen; they started very slow and are bottom in the league. 16 points in 19 matches... They've won their last couple of matches, so they were 10 points from 17 matches, which should give you an idea...
Sadly, their top scorer Danny Koevermans just tore his ACL, so that is a shame. They played on Field Turf (not natural grass) against the NE Revolution (Steve Nichols' old team) and he blew his knee out. I hate Field Turf. We are not playing them at their stadium (BMO Field), but at Rogers Center, which is a big indoor stadium... Not sure if they will use real grass at Rogers Center, but it is a bit worrying. I assume for this match they will splurge and bring in grass; assume LFC demanded it.
Toronto also has a great LFC Supporters club, so I expect a strong support for our boys there.
