Pre Season build up Thread

Carroll won't be playing obviously (sorting out his future club, etc) so I'm excited by whichever of those listed above will be our striker in pre-season. Borini sure, but he won't play all games or even all game.

I'd have thought if he's travelling he'll be playing. He's got time to sort the other stuff out when we return.

Also Coady hasn't pushed on at all in the last few years, don't think he'll make it personally.

Didn't think he would be after playing in the recent accademy friendly.

Thought we might have seen Coady go back to CB as he seemed to have did well there for England.

I really haven't seen enough of Gulacsi to comment really mate. Wasn't it the young Arsenal keeper (Manone?!) who kept him out of the Hull team?

I liked Cavalieri and Doni seems okay. But it's LFC tradition now to change reserve keepers every summer.

Trained everyday with them, was with the Spanish team for the whole tournement so his holidays started later than everyone elses. Not really surprising in the slightest.

I think that Pepe not being in the squad is even more interesting - yes he was part of Spain's Euro 2012 squad but he was on the bench for the entire tournament, he's not part of the Olympic squad, added to the fact that he is a keeper so why would he need extra "rest"?
It just doesn't add up to me...
