if they're right it begs the questions how they've managed to find that out.

dont get the fuss, we play each team twice..who cares really if you have a game plan and believe in yourselves...

There is certainly an advantage in ways the fixtures are dealt.. Well at least I think there is anyway.

Starting at home against a team you're likely to beat can give you confidence going into your next game.. The Christmas period would be a nightmare if it included City, United and another tricky away game.

It might not be decisive but I think there is something to it.

If we had Tottenham (A) first game followed by City (H) in the next.. And picked up 0 points, the pressure would be there already and a like Southampton (A) in the 3rd game. The media get on the band wagon, certain fans get uneasy and the mood around the club would be really negative.

Spurs or Villa away will be our first game. Like it always seems to be.

It helps to get some points on the board and build some confidence early on especially with a new manager starting the season.

Chelsea last season had - Stoke, West Brom, Norwich, Sunderland, Manc's & Swansea as their first 6 games and the year before West Brom, Wigan, Stoke, West Ham, Blackpool & City.

That is a massive help to get your season underway

Naa..These openers can be a bit random at times..

Odds are nothing like they are mid season.
